Special Education Services
We provide a variety of tailored therapy services for preschool-age and school-age children to help them succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. We address each child’s unique needs through an integrative strategy of personalized therapy plans and collaboration with families and educators. Our goal is to empower children with the skills and confidence to thrive in school and beyond, fostering independence and long-term success. We can provide therapy and evaluation services in an in-person or virtual setting.
We offer the following services: speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, special education and psychological evaluations, and counseling. We can offer these services in various languages. See below for more details.
Speech and Language
We help pre-school and school-aged children develop areas of communication so that they can use functional, intelligible articulation, language, and conversation to achieve social and academic success in their daily lives. We offer speech and language therapy in English, Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, Russian, Italian, and Haitian Creole.
We also offer speech and language evaluations for pre-school and school-aged children. We can perform evaluations in English, Spanish, and Russian.
Occupational Therapy
We offer occupational therapy to pre-school and school-aged children. Our focus is on enhancing fine and gross motor skills, sensory integration, self-regulation, and achieving developmental milestones. We offer occupational therapy in English and Spanish.
We can perform occupational therapy evaluations for pre-school and school-aged children. These can be offered in English and Spanish.
Physical Therapy
We offer physical therapy to pre-school and school-aged children. Pediatric Physical Therapy is a specialized field of physical therapy focused on assisting children with developmental delays, muscle weaknesses, or other conditions affecting movement patterns and the ability to explore their world. Physical therapists utilize play-based exercises and activities to enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. Treatment goals prioritize improving mobility and independence in daily life, facilitating the attainment of developmental milestones. We can only offer physical therapy in English at this time.
We can perform physical therapy evaluations for pre-school and school-aged children. At this time, these can only be performed in English.
Special Education Evaluations
We offer special education evaluations for pre-school and school-aged children. We can provide initial evaluations and re-evaluations. We can provide these evaluations in a variety of languages depending on the service (see above for specifics).
We also have psychologists with experience conducting social histories, cognitive testing, and educational testing. We can conduct psychological evaluations in English and Spanish.
Counseling
We help young children navigate emotional and behavioral challenges by addressing root causes and encouraging expression through art, movement, storytelling, and play. We assist them in processing complex emotions while building self-regulation, resilience, and coping skills suited to their developmental stage.
At this time, we can only offer counseling in English.
